I have succumbed to the peer pressure from @tomsfoolery and @brettbarner. I have removed IntenseDebate from my site. It was a hard decision because like Brett, I never had any real problems with IntenseDebate. I do like the Standard Theme commenting with Gravatar support…plus I don’t have to go in and change up all of the CSS inside IntenseDebate to make it readable on my backgroud.
So, welcome to the new commenting on austinklee.com…I guess I am just a follower.
For what it’s worth, I never had any intention of trying to dissuade anyone from using ID or Disqus.

Whatevs, Tom. You are the leader of this anti-third party commenting system squadron (Or the ATPCSS).
The Standard Theme Gravatar support was the thing that tipped the scales in favor of the WordPress Commenting system. Add that, better site load time, more unified site design, and less plug-ins, and it was worth taking ID off.
